McKenzie Hansen is joining La Grande Urgent Care in January 2024. She is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. She has a Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) from Idaho State University, a Master of Health Sciences from Boise State University, and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from Idaho State University. McKenzie has worked in a wide array of settings including the intensive care unit, emergency department, urgent care, public health, and several specialty clinics. McKenzie is passionate about the art and science of medicine. Her philosophy of care is patient-centered and utilizes a team-based approach. In her spare time, McKenzie enjoys spending time outdoors with her two dogs.
