La Grande Urgent Care will close on August 14, 2026

Praxis Health is making an important investment in primary care for La Grande. On August 14, 2026, La Grande Urgent Care will close as we expand La Grande Family Medicine to better serve our community for the long term.

What this means

• More same-day and next-day appointments at La Grande Family Medicine
• Expanding services through the end of the year. We will be looking to add additional primary care providers for the community
• A stronger medical home for the long-term health of our patients

How our scheduling works

• Same-Day and Next-Day Access. Each day, we reserve dedicated appointment slots for patients dealing with a single, urgent health concern that needs prompt attention. Think sore throats, ear infections, rashes, or other issues that cannot wait. If you are feeling unwell, call us. We will do our best to get you in quickly.
• New Patient, Transition of Care, and Preventative Visits. These visits are planned further in advance because they need more time and a more comprehensive approach. Annual physicals, wellness checks, and onboarding visits typically require longer appointment windows, so your care team can give you the attention you deserve.
• Weekend Coverage. You are never on your own. Even when the clinic is closed, we have call coverage available for guidance and support.
• In the Community. For urgent needs when our same-day slots are full, Grande Ronde Urgent Care remains an active and accessible option. For emergencies, the Emergency Room is always the right choice.
