Selina is an Eastern Oregon native.  She attended University of Nevada at Reno, and in 1994 she graduated with honors from Oregon Health Sciences University with a bachelor of science in nursing.  She has served in various nursing positions throughout her career, including direct patient care and management.  Prior to working for Grande Ronde Hospital for 16 years, Selina was a clinical instructor at OHSU School of nursing, a nurse consultant for Oregon DHS Senior & Disabled services, and a director of Public Health in Wallowa County.  Selina holds nursing certification in care coordination and transition management.  As a care manager, Selina guides and educates patients about their complex medical conditions, and promotes quality, cost effective care.  When away from work, Selina captures any opportunity to spend time with her family, especially her granddaughter.
